When I make layouts for my sites, I like to make matching avatars to go with them. I don't always use the avatars when I make a new layout (since I use a matching avatar for that layout), but I usually like the way they look.
First Avatar: Used in the February 2007 version of Amour Sincere. Rather than using pink or red colors, I tried a more professional/elegant look, and used greys and lavenders. It featured an anime woman in her wedding dress. I thought that the eye and mouth combo showed emotion, so I used that. The woman had a bouquet near her face, so the cutting marks came from where a couple of the bouquet flowers were.
Second Avatar: Used in the next version of Amour Sincere. I believe it was I started playing Mortal Kombat: Deception. Although Mileena was evil, I thought she was great, so I made a layout for her. The background was complicated, and the colors ended up slightly off.
Third Avatar: Used in the last version of old Amour Sincere. An elegant-grunge look, in black and pink. It featured Chikiro from Sister Princess, in her violin pose. There was a lot of pink in the backgrounds, but I used a lot of the Lilies brushes from Aethereality in black, so it gave it the grunge. I liked it, but PSP8 kind of ruined it with the lower quality.
