About The Site
Amour Sincere is my oldest site, and has been here longer than any of my other websites, but it's still my baby. Although, I may spend short times working on other sites, and little time with this one, this one gets more of those times than my other sites. I have yet to put this site on hiatus, and I don't plan on do so, or closing the site down soon.
Over the summer of 2007, I had re-vamped/re-made Amour Sincere. It was officially up on September __, 2007.
About the Name
I was thinking of a name for a flower, in a story I was trying to make (which didn't turn out very well), and wanted a sweet name for it. I thought of True Love, and put it into an english-to-french translator, and got Amour Sincere. I liked it and decided to name the site that.
Host History
Amour Sincere was first hosted Freewebs as freewebs.com/amoursincere, on June 6, 2005. That's when it had a lot of MS Paint graphics, along with some Paintshop Pro graphics from trials (the first time I downloaded a trial of Photoshop, I saw so many things, and understood none of it.). I went through my first three layouts with it. I remember what they look like, but I don't really have much left of them. Although my layouts and graphics weren't that good, I loved my site, and I worked on it a lot. I applied for a LOT of awards, mostly Great Start.
One day, Braxton just up and emailed me (..or it could've been IMed me.) and offered to host me, and to be staff. I was surprised, but I accepted both, and I moved to amoursincere.apocalyptic-dreams.com, where I changed all of my pages to PHP ( Now, I'm surprised I ever lived without it. XD), and started getting more and more content.
A few months after, though, I got the transcendent-tranquility.net domain, and moved Amour Sincere to transcendent-tranquility.net/graphics for a few months, before I got it's own domain, which it has now.
During the 2007 summer, I had bought my Amourous-Attraction.Net domain and decided that I really didn't need to have two domains, and after much thought, I knew that it made more sense to keep AmAtt, since it had more space, it had a hostee, and it's probably better to have a domain after your collectives than one of your other sites. But, since I didn't want Amour Sincere to have such a long name, I talked to Janet and asked to change from Domain Hosting to Subdomain hosting for just Amour Sincere. She agreed, and here we are!
